The other day, I found myself standing in front of my closet, staring at a chaotic mess of clothes, shoes, and random items stuffed on shelves. You know how it goes—old outfits you haven’t worn in years, impulse buys that never quite fit right, and accessories you forgot you even owned. My closet had become a physical representation of how I was feeling mentally—overwhelmed and cluttered.

I decided it was time to tackle the chaos. I started sorting through the clothes, trying things on, and asking myself if they still brought me joy or served a purpose. It wasn’t just about the clothes, though. As I cleared out my closet, I felt like I was also making room in my mind. Each item I let go of was like shedding an old layer of myself. With every bag I filled for donation, I felt a little lighter, like I was creating space for new possibilities.

But this process wasn't just about the physical decluttering. It made me realize how much mental clutter I was carrying around, too—thoughts, worries, and old narratives that were no longer serving me. As I cleared out my closet, I started to reflect on the things I had been holding onto mentally. In addition to me "Netflix & Healing, I spent some time journaling, letting go of the thoughts and beliefs that had been weighing me down. It felt like I was decluttering my mind just as much as my closet.

It’s amazing how something as simple as cleaning out a closet can lead to a deeper sense of clarity and peace. The more space I made in my physical world, the more space I felt in my mind. It was a reminder that letting go of what no longer serves us creates room for what truly matters. It’s not about having a perfectly organized closet or life; it’s about creating a space where you can breathe and feel at ease.
