NEW TREND ALERT: Try Soy Puta

NEW TREND ALERT: Try Soy Puta

-Written By LifeCoach614 💚

One day, while enjoying @DJKWILD’s LIVE stream on TikTok, someone scrolled into the room and randomly blurted out “HAVE YOU TRIED SOY PUTA?” (Translation: HAVE YOU TRIED SOY B****?).  The person immediately apologized and began to explain that it was a trend to join LIVE streams and pose this question at random for the sake of a good laugh.  Now I will admit, this action did in fact get everyone to laugh, however it also got them banned permanently due to the inappropriateness.  Moral of this story: Just because its trending, doesn’t me you should do it.

A trend is defined as what’s hip or popular at a certain period of time.  Social media is notorious for trends, both good and bad.  Trend chasing can be a dangerous game.  Especially when you think about your own self care.  When we become so focused on being the “it girl” or having the next viral video, we fail to realize how we invalidate who we are as individuals.

As a Social Media Influencer, I am guilty of falling into trend traps. For business purposes, it was important for me to increase my visibility, and to do that I began mimicking the popular trends in hopes of going viral.  I spent countless hours on social media, posting & networking, thinking that was going to bring me success.  But in actuality, all it brought me was stress.  Stress of not getting anything else done in my life… Stress of not connecting with those most important to me in my life… Stress from forced interactions with people in circles I didn’t really want to be… Stress from sleep deprivation cause I was up all night networking with people who were of no benefit to me.  From all that stress I learned that what actually should have been trending was ME!

Instead of focusing on what I thought was important to others, I shifted my mindset to focusing on things most important to me.  I began to speak my truths.  In return, I began to connect with others like me.  My social media accounts began to authentically grow.  I began making real connections with like-minded people.  I had more time to get daily tasks done.  I learned that I could still maintain my social presence in addition to making my presence known in the lives of my family.

It’s important to remember the end goal in everything you do.  If you are looking to achieve success, remember why you want to succeed.  Chances are, your success is for the good of your loved one’s.  Keep them in your line of sight.  The phrase, “People make time for what the want”, is key when pursing a new venture.  In addition to always making time for your loved ones, you must also make time for yourself.

I love this post, it help me realize how much we all are guilty of this. I have since tried not to focus on trends that people post . I ONLY focus on things/ trends that bring me peace and positivity. Thanks Diva for this awareness !!!!

I love this article, I will definitely be sharing it, I used to try to keep up with all the trends even if it didn’t benefit me but now I do what’s best for me.

I love this. I am guilty of wasting time online in the middle of the night when it didn’t benefit me too trying to find myself, when I was there all along. Do you; you’re the most fabulous Diva of all! Much love Queen! 🧡
