With Autumn quickly approaching, we must prepare ourselves to deal with the End of Summer Blues. This is also known as SAD, or Seasonal Affective Depression. For many people, summer ending creates a feeling of loneliness, sadness or depression.
Here are a few suggestions of simple tasks you can add to your self care routine to help you as you begin to transition into the next season.
-Establish a daily self-care routine & stick with it… everyday!
-Make space for your emotions. Your feelings are valid!
-Take a social media break. Be more present in the now!
-Take care of your body, inside & out. Drink More Water!
-Make sleep a priority. You deserve a break!
-Buy a new plant to care for. The Universe will thank you!
-Do your affirmations. Words have power, manifest that s***!
-Connect with a therapist and/or life coach. Heal from within!
Remember, just as the seasons change, these SAD emotions you are experiencing are temporary and they too shall pass. In the meanwhile, know that you are not alone.
