Have you ever felt like you were constantly under attack, like no matter how much peace you tried to cultivate, there was always someone or something ready to disrupt it? It's as if peace is a rare gem, and once you find it, everyone wants a piece of it. It's true, some people disturb your peace because they secretly want to be a part of it. I call them the Disruptors of Peace.

These individuals, often unknowingly, are drawn to the calm and stability you exude. They see something in you that they desperately want for themselves but can't quite grasp. So, they do the only thing they know how – they disrupt, they unsettle, they create chaos. It's not personal, even though it feels like a direct assault on your tranquility. It's their way of saying, "I need help. I need peace. Teach me how to swim through these rough waters of life."

But how do we deal with these Disruptors of Peace without losing our own balance? How do we protect our sacred space while still offering compassion to those who seek it? Here are a few thoughts:

  1. **Set Boundaries**: Your peace is precious. Establish clear boundaries and don't be afraid to enforce them. It's okay to say no. It's okay to walk away from situations or people that drain your energy. Boundaries are not walls but respectful lines that protect your well-being. Think of boundaries as your personal space that needs to be safeguarded for your mental and emotional health. By setting and maintaining these boundaries, you create a safe haven where you can thrive.
  1. **Practice Empathy**: Understand that these disruptors are often struggling internally. Their actions, though disruptive, are a cry for help. Approach them with empathy but not at the expense of your own well-being. Remember, empathy does not mean sacrificing your own peace for someone else's turmoil. It means acknowledging their struggle and offering understanding, while still maintaining your own serenity.
