DAY 19 - Follow your soul, it knows the way.

DAY 19 - Follow your soul, it knows the way.

Today, I want to share a powerful truth that we often overlook in our fast-paced world: our souls know the way. In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy to lose touch with our inner compass—the divine guidance within that leads us towards our true path. Our souls, created in the image of God, are like a GPS system that, when followed, guides us towards our most authentic selves and deepest desires.

Affirmations:

  1. “I trust my inner voice to guide me.”
    • Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Trusting your inner voice is akin to trusting in God’s guidance. When we lean into this trust, we find our way more clearly.
  2. “I am aligned with my true self and my soul’s purpose.”
    • Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Aligning with your true self is aligning with the divine plans God has for you, embracing the future He has in store.
  3. “I am confident in following the path that feels right for me.”
    • Psalm 37:23 states, “The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him.” Confidence in following your path is supported by knowing that God is guiding your steps and delighting in your journey.
  4. “I embrace my unique journey and trust that it is leading me to where I am meant to be.”
    • Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Embracing your journey means trusting that God is working everything for your good, leading you to where you are meant to be.
  5. “Every step I take in alignment with my soul brings me closer to my highest self.”
    • Philippians 1:6 provides reassurance: “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Every step aligned with your soul’s purpose brings you closer to the completion of the good work God has begun in you.

Practical Tips:

  1. Listen to Your Feelings:
    • Our emotions are often reflections of our soul’s alignment. As Psalm 32:8 says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” Pay attention to how you feel, as these emotions can be God’s way of guiding you towards what is right.
  2. Practice Mindfulness:
    • Spending time in quiet reflection helps us connect with God’s voice. Matthew 6:6 encourages us to “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen.” Create space for stillness and prayer, allowing God to speak into your life and guide your soul.
  3. Follow Your Passions:
    • Your passions are often aligned with God’s purpose for you. Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 reminds us, “I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.” Embrace what brings you joy and fulfillment as it aligns with the gifts God has given you.
  4. Set Boundaries:
    • Setting boundaries is important for protecting your path. Galatians 6:5 states, “For each one should carry their own load.” This means managing your own responsibilities and protecting your energy. Boundaries help you stay focused on what aligns with your soul’s purpose.
  5. Seek Guidance:
    • Seeking wisdom from others is a way to ensure you’re on the right path. Proverbs 15:22 says, “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” Don’t hesitate to seek guidance from mentors or spiritual advisors who can offer wisdom and support on your journey.

In conclusion, following your soul’s path requires trust, courage, and self-awareness. Your soul, created by God, is a wise guide that knows where you are meant to go. By listening to its whispers, practicing mindfulness, embracing your passions, setting boundaries, and seeking guidance, you align yourself with the divine path and purpose God has set for you.

So take a deep breath, trust in God’s guidance, and step forward with confidence. Your soul knows the way, and with God’s direction, you will find your most authentic and fulfilling life.
